how did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Iphone camera - This is a good quality camera and then It useful as I could email all the shots I took. Also because I have my phone with me everywhere I go when I saw something nice that I thought would lookeffective in my music video I could easily capture it.

cannon HD Video recorded - 
I did the shots on this camera that were full screen then the shots that are 'letterbox style' was done my changing the aspect ratio- When I looked at feedback people said it would be better if it was all full screen. The reason why I changed the aspect ratio was so that the bits that were 'letterbox style' showed the present time and the full screen show the past memories. This could have been made more obvious in the video to make it clearer to the audience.

Tripod- This helped me with the extreme close up of my lips so I could set the camera up then all I needed to do was to sit by the camera.

Macs - I movie - Because I took my clips on an Iphone it was compatible with the editing software I used, meaning it was fast to upload.
 

 
This was useful as I made a questionnaire and then I sent it to people by email and facebook. After enough people had completed the survey I then compiled the data by putting it into excel and then I created a variation of charts to show my results.



I used you tube to find the song I wanted to use, when we were given the brief of having to make a music video of an unsigned artist I liked this as I listen to many unsigned artists so I didn't need to search too much I just went on youtube and looked at the unsigned artists I currently listen to. I found that Gabrielle Aplin fitted the style of music video I wanted to create.

I uploaded my final video onto youtube and then It could be easily uploaded to blogger.


Prezie - I used this as it was different to what I normally use, it is a more creative way of showing work as the person using it can freely zoom in and pan around the work. This make it clearer and more interesting. I found it useful doing my evaluation on prezie as I could include videos and images.
